Black Pepper and Jaggery Winter Herbal Tea~

Ingredients:

  • Water – few cups
  • Black Pepper- Crushed a teaspoon amount
  • Jaggery- 2 tbsp
  • Fennel- few pinches
  • Sliced Fresh Turmeric/ Dry Turmeric Powder- Can be used as option

Preparation:

When the water comes to start boiling, add the turmeric slice at this point. Let it boil for few minutes. Now add the other ingredients like black pepper, jaggery, fennel in the pot. Let them steep for 15 minutes on a closed stove. Leave the pot on the hot stove for 15 minutes for best result. Strain and enjoy the herbal tea which is beneficial for winter cold and stuffiness. It has healing effects on the body and can be taken at any time of the year.
